GFRIEND To Open Weverse Community For Global Fans

GFRIEND is the latest artist to join Weverse!

Weverse is a global fan community platform launched by beNX, an entertainment platform company that is a subsidiary of Big Hit Entertainment. Previously, TXT and BTS have launched fan communities on Weverse.

On July 29, GFRIEND’s official Twitter (as well as Weverse’s official Twitter) shared that GFRIEND would be opening a global fan community on Weverse in August.

Earlier on July 29, Big Hit Entertainment formally announced that they had acquired Source Music, which is GFRIEND’s agency. The two agencies have collaborated in the past, and Source Music’s current executives will remain with the agency.

GFRIEND is currently in the middle of their Asia tour, which began in Seoul on May 18-19. They have already performed in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Bangkok, and will be performing in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Manila, and Taipei in August.
