Paul Kim Wins Top Music Daesang At 2019 M2 X Genie Music Awards

Paul Kim won a Daesang at the 2019 M2 X Genie Music Awards!

At the August 1 ceremony, Paul Kim won one of four Daesangs of the night, earning the Top Music title for his hit song “Me After You.” The Daesang was determined fully by Genie Music digital song scores, and Paul Kim’s October 2018 track took first on Genie Music overall in streaming and downloads. It also surpassed 100 million streams in total.

In addition, Paul Kim received the award for Male Solo Artist at the ceremony.

When accepting his Daesang, Paul Kim said he was very surprised as he hadn’t expected his name to be called again that night. He thanked his agency staff, artists who helped create his music, fans, and more. He said, “I sincerely thank everyone in the audience or watching the show who loves my music, and everyone who listens to my music. I’ll work harder. Thank you, I love you!”
