Gummy's "Hotel Del Luna" OST Tops Major Realtime Charts

Gummy showed her reign over OSTs once again with her latest song for tvN’s “Hotel Del Luna”!

Other “Hotel Del Luna” OST tracks by artists such as Taeyeon and Heize have recently also topped charts. On August 4 at 6 p.m. KST, Gummy’s “Hotel Del Luna” OST “Remember Me” was released, and as of August 5 at 8 p.m. KST, the song ranked No. 1 on the realtime charts of Genie, Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, Soribada, and Naver. The track eventually topped Melon’s realtime chart as well.

“Remember Me” was first revealed at the ending of the drama’s sixth episode, receiving a positive response from the viewers and reaffirming Gummy’s title as the “OST Queen.” “Remember Me” has a detailed and delicate piano sound that matches perfectly with Gummy’s emotional vocals, and it also helps portray the sadness and longing between Jang Man Wol (IU) and Goo Chan Sung (Yeo Jin Goo) in the latest episodes.

A related source revealed, “Before the release [of the song], viewers wouldn’t stop asking when the song would be released after hearing Gummy’s voice inserted in the end of episode 6. Not only did the artist’s appealing voice and sorrowful lyrics add to the mood [of the drama], but the song also shot through viewers and listeners’ hearts, immersing them into the drama further.”
