EXO's Baekhyun Breaks Gaon Chart Record For Highest Monthly Album Sales By Solo Artist

EXO’s Baekhyun has made Gaon Chart history with his solo debut!

On August 8, the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) officially announced, “Baekhyun’s solo [mini] album ‘City Lights‘ has sold 508,321 copies and ranked No. 1 on July’s monthly album chart.”

The KMCA went on to confirm, “This record marks the highest monthly sales of any album by a solo artist in Gaon Chart history.”

Baekhyun previously topped Gaon’s weekly album chart with “City Lights” for the week of July 7 to 13.
