Watch: Hoya And APRIL’s Naeun Brave The Cold Together For Upcoming Hip Hop Drama
SBS’s upcoming hip hop drama has revealed a new behind-the-scenes video of its cast!
“Hip Hop King” (literal title) will be a six-episode drama that tells the story of the world of hip hop and the youth who grow through hip hop music. The cast includes Hoya, Cross Gene’s Shin Won Ho, APRIL’s Naeun, and model Han Hyun Min.
In the clip, Hoya and Neun shoot a scene outside and work tirelessly to perfect their acting despite the cold weather. They share hand warmers and wrap themselves up in blankets in between takes. Hoya later meets Han Hyun Min, and although they like to joke around on set, they still find time to seriously monitor their scenes.
Hoya later shoots a scene with Kim Young Ok, and the two join a crowd of actors as they dance together in the streets. Their enthusiastic hand waving piques viewers’ curiosity for the drama’s story.
As Hoya rehearses a scene in which his character works part-time at gas station, Bobby Kim makes a surprise appearance. He reveals that he will be playing Hoya’s boss at the gas station and asks viewers for their support.
The clip then switches to a party scene hosted by Shin Won Ho’s character. After engaging in casual conversation with Naeun, he ventures out to the dance floor and shows off his moves.
Finally, the cast members display their excitement for the premiere of “Hip Hop King” and ask viewers to anticipate their performances.
