TWICE And IZ*ONE's Japanese Singles Go Platinum

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest certifications, with singles by TWICE and IZ*ONE going platinum!

IZ*ONE’s June 2019 single “Buenos Aires” has been certified platinum by the RIAJ. A single reaches platinum status once 250,000 copies have shipped. This is IZ*ONE’s second single to go platinum, following their Japanese debut single “Suki to Iwasetai.”

TWICE’s July 2019 singles “HAPPY HAPPY” and “Breakthrough” have also achieved platinum status, meaning they now have eight Japanese releases that have scored the platinum title.

In addition, BTS’s “Lights/Boy With Luv” single has been certified as a million seller.

Congratulations to all the artists!
