August Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed

The Korean Business Research Institute has announced this month’s brand reputation rankings for drama actors!

The rankings were determined through a data analysis of the media coverage, participation, interaction, and community indexes of 100 actors who appeared in dramas that aired between July 28 and August 29.

Yeo Jin Goo and IU, the stars of tvN’s hit drama “Hotel Del Luna,” topped this month’s list at No.1 and No. 2 respectively. High-ranking phrases in Yeo Jin Goo’s keyword analysis included “hotel,” “Lee Ji Eun [IU’s given name],” and “Instagram,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “relieved,” “cute,” and “sad.”

The actor’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 75.23 percent positive reactions, and his total brand reputation index came out to 5,978,995. Meanwhile, IU scored a brand reputation index of 4,730,925 for August.

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, who is currently starring in MBC’s “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” took third place for the month with a brand reputation index of 4,541,055.

Ong Seong Wu, the star of JTBC’s “Moments of 18,” came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,307,860, while “Welcome 2 Life” star Lim Ji Yeon rounded out the top five with a score of 4,204,220 for August.
