Sunmi Soars On iTunes K-Pop Charts Around The World With "Lalalay"

Sunmi has had a great showing on iTunes’ K-pop songs chart!

Sunmi’s most-recent release “Lalalay” has topped the iTunes K-pop songs chart in a total of 32 countries, including the U.S., Japan, Germany, France, U.K., Italy, Brazil, Canada, Spain, India, Mexico, Netherlands, Australia, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Hong Kong, Poland, Norway, Portugal, Egypt, Chile, Peru, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Hungary, Romania, and Vietnam.

“Lalalay” swept major realtime charts in Korea when it was released on August 27, and with the song also charting well with international fans, she has showcased her power as a female soloist. The song has also had many dance covers shared with its interesting choreography and unique performance.

Mixing dance hall and Latin styles together, “Lalalay” is a song written by Sunmi that talks about being carefree, and was inspired by Sunmi’s time touring in North America and Mexico earlier this year.
