September Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from August 5 to September 6.
BTS topped the rankings for the 16th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 13,738,556. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jimin,” “Jungkook,” and “V,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “honest,” “love,” and “do well.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 81.09 percent positive reactions.
“Produce X 101” project group X1 made a splashy debut in the rankings at No. 2, scoring a brand reputation index of 5,734,703 for the month, while EXO came in at No. 3 with an index of 4,320,894.
NCT ranked No. 4 for the month with a total brand reputation index of 3,184,543, marking a 24.42 percent increase in their score since August. SEVENTEEN, who similarly enjoyed a 20.89 percent increase in their score since last month, rounded out the top five for September with a total brand reputation index of 2,697,566.
