Watch: Song Seung Heon Proves He’s A Master Of Comedic Acting On Set Of “The Great Show”

The cast of tvN’s “The Great Show” were all laughs in a new behind-the-scenes video!

“The Great Show” tells the story of Wi Dae Han (played by Song Seung Heon), a former National Assembly member who hopes to get back into office after a spectacular fall from grace. In order to appear more relatable to voters and revive his political career, Wi Dae Han decides to take in four troublemaking siblings (played by Noh Jung UiJung Joon Won, Kim Jun, and Park Ye Na).

The clip opens with Song Seung Heon and Lee Sun Bin filming at a busy restaurant. Lee Sun Bin fumbles with a line, as she is particularly nervous about the next scene in which she has to spit her drink in Song Seung Heon’s face. She says, “I’m not kidding, my heart is beating super fast,” and goes outside to practice. Although she completes the actual run seamlessly with a direct hit, she immediately lowers her head in apology to Song Seung Heon when the cameras stop rolling and asks, “Why won’t you look at me?” when he hilariously avoids her gaze.

In another scene at a gym, Song Seung Heon shows off his boxing skills. When he gets in the ring with VIXX’s Hyuk, he lifts the mood on set by suggesting his co-star retreat with extravagant footwork. Everyone is further sent into hysterics when Song Seung Heon is legitimately taken aback after Hyuk mistakenly kneels when he says, “Grit your teeth, [this punch] is going to hurt.”

The video also includes a short segment of the cast giving their Chuseok greetings. Song Seung Heon states, “Have an enjoyable time with the friends and family you haven’t seen in awhile,” and Jung Joon Won sweetly reminds viewers to look after their health.
