SEVENTEEN Breaks Personal Album Sales Record With "An Ode"

SEVENTEEN has surpassed the “half million” mark in first sales for their third studio album, “An Ode!”

SEVENTEEN released “An Ode” and title track “Fear” on September 16. Within three days, “An Ode” had jumped over the total first week sales SEVENTEEN had recorded for their previous album, the EP “You Made My Dawn.”

As of September 20 around 1:20 p.m. KST, “An Ode” had recorded 640,000 copies sold, breaking the 500,000 mark within five days of its release.

SEVENTEEN may still have more records to break in future, as their first week of sales officially ends on September 22. However, their current record for “An Ode” puts it on track to be the second highest first week sales record for a 2019 album so far.
