KBS’s “When the Camellia Blooms” and MBN’s “Graceful Family” continue to show impressive results in viewership ratings!

The October 2 episode of “When the Camellia Blooms” scored ratings of 9.3 and 11.5 percent and held on its spot at the top of its time slot. The drama has consistently received the highest viewership ratings in its time slot ever since it premiered in mid-September. 11.5 percent is also a new personal best for the drama after it broke into the double digits last week.

“When the Camellia Blooms” also saw improvements in the ratings for the age demographic of 20-49 (a key demographic for advertisers) with 4.6 and 5.8 percent.

In the same time slot, SBS’s “Secret Boutique” recorded ratings of 4.6 and 5.3 percent, a slight improvement over last week’s 4.9 percent.

MBC premiered a new Wednesday-Thursday drama on October 2, “Extraordinary You,” starring Kim Hye Yoon and SF9’s Rowoon. The drama started off with 3.1 and 3.5 percent ratings, which is a decrease from the finale of its predecessor, “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.”

On the cable side, “Graceful Family” continued to make waves for the channel MBN. According to Nielsen Korea, the October 2 episode scored average ratings of 7.125 percent and at one point in the broadcast went as high as 8 percent. This is yet another personal best for both “Graceful Family” and MBN dramas in general.
