Watch: William Hammington Meets Jacob Batalon From “Spider-Man” Films And Receives A Special Gift

William Hammington got to meet Ned Leeds from “Spider-Man”!

On the October 6 episode of KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman,” Sam Hammington took his two sons William and Bentley to play outside. While on a little tour, they came across what Sam Hammington referred to as a lucky bird, insisting that William make a wish. William is known for his love of “Spider-Man,” and after little deliberation he announced, “I want to become Spider-Man,” desperately pleading at the bottom of the bird.

Then Jacob Batalon, who plays Spider-Man’s best friend Ned Leeds, appeared from behind the statue! Sam Hammington revealed that he had messaged Jacob supporting his work, leading the two to discuss meeting up.

While William was initially skeptical as Jacob was not wearing his Ned Leeds wig, he continued asking questions like, “Are you really Ned?” and, “Did you come out of the TV?” Sam Hammington confirmed he came from the United States, and the actor pulled out some photos he had with Tom Holland to prove they were friends until William finally accepted that he is really friends with Spider-Man.

The group settled down at a nearby coffee shop where William excitedly asked Jacob numerous questions in both English and Korean. Once Sam and Bentley left the table to grab some drinks, William began asking him more questions, including, “Why are you friends with Spider-Man?” and, “You don’t have a lot of hair?” before hilariously adding in English, “Where, hair?”

After asking William if he really wanted to become Spider-Man, Jacob presented him with a framed poster including the full cast’s autographs, of which only two exist worldwide. Later, he gifted William a Spider-Man suit and Bentley a Ned outfit, which the two immediately put on. Once they were all dressed up, Jacob put William through a Spider-Man test where he proudly showed off all of his superhero skills.
