Yoon Shi Yoon Is A Pushover Who's Hesitant To Speak Up In Upcoming tvN Comedy Thriller
tvN’s “Psychopath Diary” (literal title) has released new stills of Yoon Shi Yoon!
“Psychopath Diary” is about a man named Yook Dong Shik (Yoon Shi Yoon) who coincidentally witnesses a murder and loses his memory after an accident that occurs while he is fleeing the scene. He wakes up with no sense of identity and mistakes himself as the psychopathic killer when he finds the murderer’s diary in his hands. Although Yook Dong Shik is a weak-minded, timid pushover, he sees the world in a different light and begins to change after believing that he’s the murderer.
The newly released stills of Yook Dong Shik shows his turbulent work life. With his head down, Yook Dong Shik looks nervous and in low spirits on his way to work. At work, Yook Dong Shik can’t even meet the eyes of Park Jae Ho (Kim Ki Doo) who was promoted before him despite entering the company at the same time.
Furthermore, Yook Dong Shik is being scolded by the team leader Gong Chan Seok (Choi Dae Chul) who takes advantage of his position of power. Even though Gong Chan Seok is poking Yook Dong Shik harshly with his finger, Yook Dong Shik stands by quietly without uttering a word.
Even during the company’s dinner outing, Yook Dong Shik hesitantly stands by, unable to join in on the cheers. Looking like a downtrodden pushover, Yook Dong Shik and his relatable struggles have raised curiosity about his character in the upcoming drama.
The production team for “Psychopath Diary” shared, “Yoon Shi Yoon, [whose character] lived in a position of lower status while being intimidated by his superior who takes advantage of his power, will deliver new excitement to the viewers as [his character] transforms after mistakenly believing he’s a psychopath and seeing the world from a predator’s perspective. Please look forward to it a lot.”
“Psychopath Diary” will premiere sometime in November. Watch Yoon Shi Yoon introduce his character during the drama’s first script reading here!
