MONSTA X Shares SEVENTEEN's Reaction To Viral Clip Of Joohoney's "Clap" Lesson On "Produce X 101"

On the October 29 episode of JTBC’s “Idol Room,” MONSTA X appeared as guests to promote their latest title track “Follow.”

During the show, the MCs introduced Joohoney as the “Clap Teacher,” referring to the viral clip of the rapper giving a lesson on performing SEVENTEEN’s “Clap” on “Produce X 101.”

“I didn’t know that it would be aired like that,” said Joohoney. Minhyuk added, “This is SEVENTEEN’s original track, and it was a hot topic amongst them as well. They sent videos to be evaluated by Joohoney.”

Joohoney explained with a laugh, “SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi contacted me and Woozi sent me [a clip] copying me.”

At the request of the MCs, Joohoney then gave his famous “Clap” lesson to Jung Hyung Don and Defconn and made them laugh with his serious teaching. He said, “The clap has to not only use your voice but also the space. You have to do image training thinking that this will be heard at the back of the venue.”
