Watch: SMTOWN Artists Lend Their Voices For STATION X's "This Is Your Day" With UNICEF

The first track for SM Entertainment’s “STATION X 4 LOVEs for Winter (2019 SMTOWN Winter)” has been revealed!

“This is Your Day (for every child, UNICEF)” is a pop ballad track that wishes for the happiness of children around the world. BoA, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, J-Min, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Suho, Red Velvet’s Wendy, and NCT’s Doyoung lent their voices for this collaboration.

SM Entertainment artists will be collaborating for “STATION X 4 LOVEs for Winter (2019 SMTOWN Winter)”!

BoA, J-Min, Super Junior’s Choi Siwon, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Suho, Red Velvet’s Wendy, and NCT’s Doyoung will be singing the first track from the project, “This is Your Day.”

“This is Your Day” is a pop ballad with dynamic chord progressions. The lyrics were written by Yoo Young Jin and express his hopes for all children to be happy.

The collaboration was the idea of Choi Siwon, who was recently named as the regional ambassador for UNICEF East Asia Pacific. All participating artists decided to take part in the project for no pay and support the cause for children. The proceeds from the track will be donated to “SMile for U,” a joint program by SM Entertainment and UNICEF to provide music education for children and adolescents in Vietnam and children with special needs.

“This is Your Day” will be released on November 20 at 6 p.m. KST. Starting with “This is Your Day,” three more songs from the project, “White Winter,” “Coming Home,” and “Forever” will be revealed in the future.

SM Entertainment’s digital music release channel STATION will be relaunched as STATION X!

While STATION featured music released regularly on a seasonal basis, STATION X will have music released within specific projects. The “X” represents the collaborative aspect of STATION X.

The first project of STATION X is “STATION X 4 LOVEs for Winter (2019 SMTOWN Winter).” Four songs with the themes of winter and love will be released for this project.

The trailer released on November 15 stars NCT’s Jaehyun and hints at the four tracks “This is Your Day,” “Forever,” NCT U’s “Coming Home,” and “White Winter.” The first song is set to be released on November 20.
