
Super Junior’s Choi Siwon Named As Regional Ambassador For UNICEF
Super Junior’s Choi Siwon is continuing his meaningful work with UNICEF!
On November 11, UNICEF East Asia Pacific announced that Choi Siwon was their newest regional ambassador.
In a brief interview, Choi Siwon shared his support for UNICEF’s commitment to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which includes causes like children’s education, health, and more. 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the CRC, which was established by the United Nations and signed by world leaders in 1989.
Choi Siwon has worked extensively with UNICEF over the years. In 2015, he was named as a special representative for UNICEF Korea after previously contributing to many of their campaigns. In 2017, he received recognition for his work as a special representative. In October of this year, he visited Vietnam to promote UNICEF’s campaign to end bullying.
