Park Bo Gum is now confirmed to host the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2019 MAMA)!

A source from Park Bo Gum’s agency Blossom Entertainment stated to Xportsnews, “Park Bo Gum has decided to attend the 2019 MAMA as a host. He decided to attend for the purpose of cultural exchange rather than [focusing on] political issues.”

On December 2, Sports Donga reported that Park Bo Gum will be hosting the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

If this is confirmed, it will be Park Bo Gum’s third year hosting the awards show since 2017.

A source from the broadcasting industry shared with Sports Donga, “Park Bo Gum has agreed to attend the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards, but not easily. At first, he declined the offer due to the tension between South Korea and Japan, but he accepted CJ ENM’s argument that cultural exchange is necessary despite political conflicts and decided to change his mind.”
