MAMAMOO, Kim Nam Gil, SF9’s Rowoon, Jung Yu Mi, And More To Be Awarded At 2019 Grimae Awards
The recipients for the 2019 Grimae Awards have been announced!
The ceremony for the 2019 Grimae Awards will take place on December 5 at 7:30 p.m. KST at the Stanford Hotel in the neighborhood of Sangam in Seoul.
The Grimae Awards was created in 1993 by the Korean Directors of Photography Society (KDPS). Awards given to film directors who have pursued excellent and experimental cinematography in projects produced by each broadcasting company over the past year and actors who showed great performances as voted by directors. The ceremony this year will also include an Entertainer Award.
The Top Excellence Award for dramas goes to Yoon Dae Young and Park Jong Gi from SBS’s “The Fiery Priest.” Excellence Awards for dramas will be awarded to Kim Seung Chul and Jung Soon Dong of MBC’s “Partners for Justice 2” as well as Heo Kook Hwe and Jung Yeon Doo of KBS 2TV’s “Doctor Prisoner.” The Lighting Award goes to lighting director Jung Gil Yong for “Doctor Prisoner,” as well.
The Entertainer Award, which was established this year and picks the best entertainer of the year, will be awarded to MAMAMOO. For the awards given to actors, SF9’s Rowoon will receive the New Actor Award for his role in MBC’s “Extraordinary You.” The Best Male Actor award will be given to Kim Nam Gil from SBS’s “The Fiery Priest,” while the Best Female Actress award will be given to Jung Yu Mi from MBC’s “Partners for Justice 2.”
