HALO's Ooon, Yoondong, And Heecheon Step Down From "Produce 101 Japan"

HALO’s Ooon (Jung Young Hoon), Yoondong (Kim Yoon Dong), and Heecheon (Kim Hee Cheon) have stepped down from “Produce 101 Japan.”

The three members of HALO had been participating in “Produce 101 Japan” as trainees. However, after Heecheon recently stepped down from the show, the two other HALO members followed suit.

On December 5, “Produce 101 Japan” revealed through their official website, “We received a request from the two trainees Kim Yoon Dong and Jung Young Hoon to leave [the show]. After repeated discussions, the managing executive office decided to respect their wishes and accept [their decision] to step down.”

The program also addressed the issue of screen time, stating, “Since they made the request to step down after the third ranking ceremony, we will air the [December] 5 episode as is.”

“Produce 101 Japan” added, “There continues to be groundless slander on various social media platforms, but we ask for everyone’s understanding and cooperation so that everyone can enjoy this project happily.”
