We may be seeing Seo Ye Ji and Kim Soo Hyun in a new drama soon!

On December 9, Ilgan Sports quoted a source from the drama industry who stated that Seo Ye Ji has been cast as the leading female character in the drama “Psycho But It’s Okay” (literal title), the same drama that Kim Soo Hyun is in talks for.

If she takes on the role, Seo Ye Ji is set to play Go Moon Young, who is a popular children’s book author who suffers from antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). She grew up with a mystery novelist mother and a father who is a professor of Korean language studies at a top university. She was bullied as a child as she was detached from her emotions and was not able to socialize well with the other children, and has grown up to become a popular children’s book author.

“Psycho But It’s Okay” is set to tell the story of a community health worker at a psychiatric ward and a storybook author who suffers from ASPD. It will be a fantasy romance as a man who rejects love and a woman who knows nothing of love overcome difficulties and rediscover their lost souls and identities through love.

The drama is set to be directed by producing director (PD) Park Shin Woo of “Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate)” and “Encounter,” written by “Jugglers” screenwriter Jo Yong, and is set to air in the first half of 2020.
