“Parasite” dominated this year’s Chicago Film Critics Association Awards!

On December 14 local time, the Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA) announced their 2019 award winners. “Parasite” was the clear winner of the night, snagging no less than four different awards: the movie won Best Picture, Best Director (Bong Joon Ho), Best Original Screenplay (Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Won), and Best Foreign Language Film.

“Parasite” was also awarded Best Picture by the Los Angeles Film Critics Association earlier this week, in addition to Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Song Kang Ho).

After becoming the first Korean film ever to win the Palme d’Or at the legendary Cannes Film Festival, “Parasite” also recently became the first Korean film to be nominated for three Golden Globe Awards. The movie is currently in the running for Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Foreign Language Film.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Parasite”!
