DSP Media Shares Result Of Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters

DSP Media has shared another update on the action the agency took against malicious comments and defamation about its artists, which has been an ongoing process since this summer.

The agency’s artists including KARD, Heo Young Ji, Oh Jong Hyuk, Lee Hyun Joo, APRIL, and X1’s Son Dong Pyo.

DSP Media’s statement released on December 18 reads as follows:

Hello, this is DSP Media.

We are issuing an update regarding the legal response to the severe malicious and defamatory comments made about our artists.

Since then, we have collected evidence from the community and from social media, and proceeded with legal action against several of the worst offenders. As such, they were all issued fines for their actions.

Additionally, DSP Media is always monitoring [for malicious content] in order to protect our artists. Not only this, but in the future we will not agree to such a light punishment again. We ask that you choose not to make bad decisions on the spur of the moment out of curiosity or for fun.

We sincerely thank all of the fans who love and support our artists.
