Ahn Jae Hong Talks About Acting As Polar Bear For Upcoming Comedy Movie

Actor Ahn Jae Hong recently talked about acting in the film “We Don’t Hurt You” (literal translation).

On December 18, the cast and crew of the new comedy movie attended a press conference at the CGV theater in Gangnam, Seoul.

Based on the webtoon by the same name, “We Don’t Hurt You” will tell the story of Tae Soo (played by Ahn Jae Hong), a lawyer who unexpectedly becomes the director of a zoo that is on the verge of being shut down, and the employees of the zoo, who pretend to be the animals that got sold and sent away.

MC Park Kyung Lim pointed out that Ahn Jae Hong is the first actor in Korea to play a polar bear, and he commented, “I have often heard that I look like a polar bear. We both look the same, we don’t get cold, we like winter, and we enjoy cola. It was amazing and fun to play an animal that I like.”

Then he shared, “The costumes were large and heavy. We tried to express our sense of weight naturally in implementing movement.”

Ahn Jae Hong expressed his confidence in the film by stating, “I think it will entertain you with fresh and pleasant fun.” He did a parody of the famous line from “Extreme Job,” saying, There hasn’t been a movie like this before. Is this a person or an animal?” Then he added, “Whatever you imagine, you will find it more interesting. I think it’s a refreshing movie like cola.”
