CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa Talks Future Plans, How He's Changed Since Before Enlisting, And More

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa shared thoughts on his future in an interview with Grazia.

Jung Yong Hwa finished his mandatory military service and was discharged on November 3. When asked what’s changed the most in the 20 months since his enlistment, Jung Yong Hwa replied, “My mindset’s changed a lot.”

“Before I enlisted, I put a lot of emphasis on my work,” he said. “I focused on what the public wants rather than what I want, but now I think, ‘I should do what I really want when I want to.’ I used to feel pressed for time, but I don’t feel that as much anymore.”

Jung Yong Hwa also talked about his future plans. He said, “I started an overseas tour, and I’m also planning to release an album. I’ve received drama offers too, so if the timing works out, I think I’ll be able to do that.”

He added, “I feel happy and grateful towards the people who are still interested in me even after I’ve been discharged. I want to make it up to them somehow.”

Jung Yong Hwa’s full interview and pictorial can be found in the January issue of Grazia Korea.
