Former After School Member Jung Ah Speaks Out About Malicious Comments

Jung Ah made a statement about malicious comments.

On December 26, the former After School leader shared her thoughts on Instagram.

She wrote, “I won’t reveal the person who sends me weird vulgar words via DMs [direct messages]. But there is no reason why I should be cursed at just for being a public figure. I tried to let it go, but I feel so angry and I keep thinking about it. Do I need to cope with malicious comments just because I’m a celebrity? I tried to let it go by thinking pitifully of malicious commenters, but it’s not easy.”

She continued, “I get hurt a lot more than you think..I’ll ask you sincerely. The malicious comments you post not about me but on many articles could be murder. I don’t want to lose any more colleagues and it’s also difficult for me to accept them. It’s not like celebrities aren’t speaking out because they’re okay with it. Everyone is getting hurt. I want to ask you once again. If you don’t like something, don’t look at it.”

Jung Ah recently welcomed her first child in October after marrying basketball player Jung Chang Young in April 2018.
