Yum Jung Ah Confirmed To Join Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, Ryu Jun Yeol, And More In Highly-Anticipated Film

Yum Jung Ah has joined a star-studded cast for director Choi Dong Hoon’s new film!

On January 8, a source from Yum Jung Ah’s agency, Artist Company, told Sports Chosun, “Yum Jung Ah has confirmed her appearance in director Choi Dong Hoon’s new film. Filming starts in February.”

The actress will be working alongside Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Tae Ri, Kim Woo Bin, Jo Woo Jin, Honey Lee, and Kim Ui Sung. Yum Jung Ah has experience working with director Choi Dong Hoon in his past films including “The Big Swindle” and “Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard.”

This is director Choi Dong Hoon’s follow-up to “Assassination,” which premiered in 2015. It’s being rumored that his newest film will be an expansion of “Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard” and will be a crime science-fiction film about aliens living in Korea. Director Choi Dong Hoon was previously preparing a Korean remake of the Hong Kong film “Wiretap,” but production came to a halt following lead Kim Woo Bin’s cancer diagnosis. The director will now turn his attention to this new project and began filming in February.

This film is already the talk of the town as its cast includes some of the most popular, talented actors. The cast is being dubbed the Korean “Avengers” and expectations are already on the rise, even though the film is only at its production stage. Yum Jung Ah and Kim Woo Bin, who were previously cast in “Wiretap,” also showed their loyalty to the director by reuniting for his new film.

Director Choi Dong Hoon’s new film will be produced in two instalments, and the scenario will soon be completed and handed out to the staff and actors. Similar to “Along with the Gods,” both parts of the series will be filmed at the same time and premiere starting 2021. The film will be distributed by CJ ENM, who is also an investor in the production.
