TWICE’s Mina To Attend Public Event For 1st Time In 4 Months
TWICE’s Mina will be meeting with fans for the first time in four months.
On January 8, JYP Entertainment released a statement on TWICE’s official Japanese website, saying, “Mina is planning to attend the album delivery event for album buyers.”
According to the notice, Mina will appear at the “&TWICE” fan event being held on February 1 and 2 in Japan. This will be Mina’s first public event in four months since her last surprise appearance at TWICE’s fourth fan meeting “ONCE HALLOWEEN 2.”
In August, the agency informed fans of Mina’s anxiety disorder diagnosis and her break in promotions to focus on her health. Since then, Mina has participated in the recording of TWICE’s eighth mini album “Feel Special” and filming of the MV.
The girl group has been busy promoting in Korea and overseas. In November, TWICE rleased their second Japanese album “&TWICE” and became the only Korean group to perform at NHK’s New Year’s Eve music show Kōhaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle) three years in a row. TWICE is planning to release their second repackaged Japanese album on February 5, hold their Japanese Tokyo Dome Tour “TWICE World Tour 2019 ‘TWICELIGHTS'” on March 3 and 4, and conclude their world tour with a finale concert at Seoul’s KSPO Dome on March 7 and 8.
