Kassy's Agency Reveals Chart Manipulation Rumors About The Singer's Album Have Been Proven False

Kassy’s agency has released a statement regarding chart manipulation rumors that arose last year, saying that the case has been settled and the rumors were proven to be false by investigative agencies.

The statement came soon after it was announced that Kassy would be releasing a collaboration with MAMAMOO’s Solar on January 16 at 6 p.m. KST.

Hello, this is Kassy’s agency Nextar Entertainment.

First, we’d like to say thank you to all of the fans that have shown their love and support for Kassy.

Last year, some of those who spread malicious rumors about Kassy received suspended indictments, while others received suspended indictments with the condition of completing education hours. As a result, we are letting you know that the chart manipulation rumors were acknowledged as false by the police, the prosecution, investigative organizations, and the civil courts.

These results are a warning to those who posted malicious rumors starting early last year about charts being manipulated in favor of Kassy’s album. We previously filed a criminal lawsuit against those who spread malicious rumors on charges of defamation and contempt as outlined in Article 70 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

We’ve determined that there’s no need for us to explain any further, and in the future, we will fight to the end against those who harass our agency artists with ridiculous rumors, and we will continue to take strict legal action.
