Watch: Son Dambi Returns To Dance Studio For 1st Time In 10 Years + Explains Why She Stopped Being An Idol
On the February 14 episode of the popular reality show, Son Dambi decided to go to a dance studio to learn choreography to Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings,” and she worked with BLACKPINK’s choreographer to get the routine down.
“This is where I practiced dancing every day 10 years ago,” she shared. “I haven’t been back here since I stopped being a singer.”
Son Dambi said, “Many people are uploading dance choreography videos for their fans. A lot of my fans began liking me when I was a singer, so I get a lot of requests for that kind of thing. So I decided to do it, since I haven’t done it once in 10 years!”
She went on to say, “I really wanted to be an actress. When I was working as an actress, the directors would always tell me that my image as a singer was really strong, so I decided to close the book on my dreams about being a singer.”
When the footage of her practicing her dancing was shown to the cast, Son Dambi said, “It was tiring, but it was really fun.”
