Shin Ha Kyun, Jung So Min, And More Gather For 1st Script Reading Of Upcoming KBS Drama

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Soul Repairer” (working title) is raising anticipation with photos from its first script reading!

“Soul Repairer” will tell the story of psychiatrists and their patients. Through various stories, the drama aims to ask, “Where does happiness come from?” and share a heartwarming message of comfort with viewers.

The script reading took place in December 2019, and was attended by producing director (PD) Yoo Hyun Ki, screenwriter Lee Hyang Hee, and cast members such as Shin Ha Kyun, Jung So Min, Tae In Ho, Park Ye Jin, Joo Min Kyung, Jo Kyung Sook, Park Soo Young, Jung Hae Kyun, Choi Jung Woo, Ahn Dong Gu, Park Han Sol, Kim Kang Min, Ha Young, Jang Yoo Sang, and Kim Ga Ran.

The PD and screenwriter described “Soul Repairer” as a project they’ve been working on for a long time and said, “We’re so happy and nervous to be working with actors we’ve wanted to work with.” Shin Ha Kyun, who will play a psychiatrist who is willing to do whatever it takes to help his patients called Lee Si Joon, stated, “I will do my best to ensure that we can properly deliver the message we hope to share.”

The script reading lasted for approximately five hours and the cast immersed themselves into their roles to create a riveting and energetic experience. The production staff of “Soul Repairer” stated, “We hope to gift many people with comfort and empathy through our drama, and we were off to a great start with the first script reading.”

They continued to add, “PD Yoo Hyun Ki’s leadership and big picture, screenwriter Lee Hang Hee’s warm script, and the actors’ dedication created the perfect synergy. The script reading showed the sincerity and teamwork of the cast and crew, and we hope people will anticipate the drama.”

“Soul Repairer” is set to premiere in May.
