Seo Ye Ji Confirmed To Star Opposite Kim Soo Hyun In New tvN Romance Drama

It’s official: Seo Ye Ji and Kim Soo Hyun will be starring together in the upcoming tvN drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”!

On February 27, Seo Ye Ji’s agency Gold Medalist confirmed that the actress would be starring in “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” as the female lead.

Described as a “healing romance that resembles a storybook fantasy,” the drama will tell the story of a community health worker at a psychiatric ward who doesn’t have time for love and a storybook writer who has never known love. After meeting one another, the two slowly begin to heal each other’s emotional wounds.

Seo Ye Ji will be playing the role of Go Moon Young, a popular and extremely successful children’s book author who suffers from antisocial personality disorder. Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun will be making his highly-anticipated return to the small screen in the role of community health worker Moon Kang Tae, who became the breadwinner of his family at an early age after losing his parents.

“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” will be helmed by Park Shin Woo, the director behind the hit dramas “Encounter” and “Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate).”

According to Seo Ye Ji’s agency, the drama is scheduled to premiere sometime in June of this year.
