Watch: PENTAGON's Hui + Jinho Bring Down The House With Their Impressive Vocals On "Immortal Songs"

PENTAGON’s Hui and Jinho wowed the crowd with a powerful performance on the latest episode of “Immortal Songs”!

The February 29 episode of the KBS 2TV singing competition featured songs by legendary singer Jung Soo Ra, and for their performance, Jinho and Hui took on her classic hit “Exultation.”

Before they took the stage, Hui explained that they had rearranged the song in a way that allowed them to show a variety of styles and genres. “There are lots of different stories and dramatic [twists] within just this one song,” he explained.

Jinho and Hui then blew the audience away with their unique rendition of “Exultation.” At some points during the number, the two idols sang the song in the style of an emotional ballad, leaving the audience members’ jaws on the floor with their smooth vocals and their piercing high notes; at others, they had the crowd on their feet and dancing along to their spirited, high-energy performance.

After watching them perform, Jung Soo Ra praised the PENTAGON members’ skills, remarking, “Maybe it’s because they’re total pros when it comes to singing, but they had a lot of strength and did a great job mixing their own unique colors into the song. I think this is the birth of a new, idol-style version of [‘Exultation’]. Thank you. I really enjoyed it, and you did a great job.”
