EXO's Baekhyun, AOA's Seolhyun, SEVENTEEN's Hoshi, And More Make Donations To Help Combat Coronavirus

More celebrities are continuing to show support for coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention efforts with generous contributions.

On March 6, former soccer player Park Ji Sung and his wife Kim Min Ji donated 100 million won (approximately $83,300) to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a global non-profit organization supporting children’s welfare.

On March 7, Noh Hong Chul, who recently opened a bakery, shared on his Instagram that he would be making and distributing bread to various regions in Seoul, Daegu, and Kyung Bok. He also stated that while his store was currently closed, take out is available and all proceeds will be donated.

EXO’s Baekhyun, AOA’s Seolhyun, and SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi each donated 50 million won (approximately $41,600) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.

JTBC web variety show “Walkman” also donated 10 million won (approximately $8,300) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. This donation also includes payments that cast members Jang Sung Kyu and Kim Min Ah personally earned while working part-time jobs.

On March 9, Kim Sa Rang donated 20,000 hand sanitizers (worth around 100 million won) to the Community Chest of Korea.
