Jin Se Yeon Is Lost Deep In Thought In Upcoming Reincarnation Drama "Born Again"

KBS2’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Born Again” has shared its first stills of Jin Se Yeon!

“Born Again” is a reincarnation drama about a detective, the detective’s lover, and a serial killer who loved the detective’s lover. Their lives ended 32 years ago but their fates become entangled again when they are reincarnated into new lives. Jang Ki Yong, Jin Se Yeon, and Lee Soo Hyuk will all be playing two different characters each across two separate lives,

Jin Se Yeon will be playing the roles of Jung Ha Eun in the 1980s and Jung Sa Bin in the present. The new stills feature Jung Ha Eun, owner of the secondhand bookstore The Old Future, who suffers from dilated cardiomyopathy (a condition that causes the heart chambers to be enlarged and unable to pump blood effectively due to weakened heart muscle).

The pictures give off a retro vibe as Jung Ha Eun is surrounded by tightly stacked books, a lamp, a teapot, and a basket filled with fruit. While listening to a red radio cassette player, Jung Ha Eun is writing something down. Looking lost in thought, her gaze makes viewers reminisce of their first loves.

In another photo, Jung Ha Eun is standing beneath the bookstore’s sign while holding a yellow umbrella as snow falls from the sky. The sign that reads “The Old Future” seems somewhat befitting of the theme of reincarnation in the drama. Furthermore, Jung Ha Eun is staring to her side, drawing curiosity on if she’s waiting for something.

The production team shared, “Jin Se Yeon suits the 1980s analog vibe very well. In the drama, Jung Ha Eun will have a very different feel from the present life character Jung Sa Bin. With dual roles that are different for each generation, viewers will be able to feel a new charm, so please look forward to it.”

“Born Again” will premiere on April 20.
