Yoo Yeon Seok’s Agency Reassures Fans After Film Co-Star Olga Kurylenko Tests Positive For Coronavirus

After French-Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko was revealed to have tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19), Yoo Yeon Seok’s agency gave an update on the status of the Korean-French movie “Matin Calme” (Calm Morning) starring the two actors.

On March 16, King Kong by Starship announced, “After hearing that Olga Kurylenko tested positive for COVID-19, we reached out to the French production company for confirmation, but we weren’t able to get in touch with them. Filming hasn’t started yet, so [Yoo Yeon Seok] hasn’t filmed with her yet. We haven’t heard about the shooting schedule since then.”

Earlier that day, Olga Kurylenko personally revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19 via Instagram. She wrote, “Locked up at home after having tested positive for the coronavirus. I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”

Filming for “Matin Calme” had been slated to begin in April in Korea, but the schedule is now unclear.

Yoo Yeon Seok is currently starring in “Hospital Playlist.”

We wish Olga Kurylenko a speedy recovery!
