“Hi Bye, Mama” And “M Countdown” Will Not Air This Upcoming Week

tvN’s “Hi Bye, Mama” and Mnet’s “M Countdown” will be taking a break from broadcasts the upcoming week.

A source from “Hi Bye, Mama” explained, “We have decided to take a week-long break from broadcasts on April 4 and 5. This is due to inevitable changes in the schedule and to ensure a more stable production process. Special broadcasts will air instead on those days.”

A source from Mnet (“M Countdown”) stated to Xportsnews, “To abide by the government’s ‘social distancing’ guidelines, we will not have a live broadcast [this upcoming] week. We have not yet come to a decision about next week’s live broadcast on April 9. We will make the decision after observing how the COVID-19 situation progresses.” The source explained that the previous week’s (March 26) broadcast had been scheduled before the government guidelines were made. This week’s “M Countdown” will be replaced with highlights from previous “M Countdown” broadcasts.

Meanwhile, Olive’s “Food Bless You” is not airing for the upcoming two weeks because a junior producing director (PD) tested positive for the coronavirus.
