Kim Sang Hyuk's Agency To Take Legal Action Over Rumors About Divorce

On April 8, Click-B member Kim Sang Hyuk’s agency, Koen Stars, announced that they will file criminal complaints against malicious comments and the spread of false information related to his divorce with shopping mall CEO Song Da Ye.

On April 7, Kim Sang Hyuk revealed the news of his divorce on his personal Instagram. The following day, he appeared on SBS Love FM’s radio show “Oppa’s Radio” and delivered an apology to the show’s listeners. He shared tearfully, “As a husband, I should have worked harder in all aspects [of the marriage], but since I couldn’t do that, I think it’s all my fault. My heart really aches. I’m so sorry for having to deliver this bad news.”

The couple mutually agreed to the divorce and are currently undergoing legal proceedings.

However, following the news of their divorce, rumors about violence in their marriage have resurfaced. Right before their wedding ceremony in 2019, rumors first spread when Song Da Ye had a bruise due to a minor eye injury. At that time, she personally explained the reason behind her injury and encouraged people to use common sense and think logically.

A representative from Koen Stars stated on April 8 that they are in the middle of collecting data on the rumors and that they have plans to take legal action against malicious comments including the spread of false information.

In February 2019, Kim Sang Hyuk announced his marriage plans, and his bride-to-be was later revealed to be Song Da Ye, former ulzzang and online shopping mall CEO. They officially tied the knot on April 7, 2019, and they then announced their divorce exactly one year later.
