Watch: WINNER Defines What The Group Means To Them + Describes 3rd Album "Remember"

The members of WINNER expressed love for their group, album, and fans in a new interview.

An hour before the release of WINNER’s third studio album “Remember,” the group shared a clip of the members answering the same questions that they were asked at the time of their debut.

WINNER debuted after competing in the 2013 survival program “WIN” and have been promoting for six years since. When asked what WINNER means to him, Song Mino answered, “WINNER is like a nest. I ate food and grew while learning how to fly with friends who were born alongside me.”

Lee Seung Hoon said, “WINNER is the biggest slice of pie that took up the most of my 20s,” and Kang Seung Yoon replied, “It’s all of my youth.” Kim Jin Woo, who enlisted in the military last week, stated, “WINNER has now become something that I can’t exist without.”

The members were then asked to describe their latest album. Kang Seung Yoon said, “The beauty of a blank space. I think it’s an album that leaves a blank for what we are going to fill when we return.” Song Mino stated, “A world masterpiece. All of of our albums feel this way, but in our hearts, it’s truly a masterpiece.”

Kim Jin Woo answered, “It continues,” while Lee Seung Hoon added, “Be healthy. It contains the message to be healthy and well while you ‘Remember’ for me and for our Inner Circles [WINNER’s fandom]. I hope you’ll be healthy.”

The clip concluded with each member’s message of gratitude. Song Mino said, “It’s hard to say one sentence to people I’m thankful for. Our fans give us strength and support and listen to us so that we’re able to exist.”

Kang Seung Yoon answered, “I want to say thank you to everyone who was with us during each moment in the last seven years. I especially want to thank our members and, more than anything, our Inner Circles who looked after our group WINNER.”

Lee Seung Hoon added, “We prepared this album while thinking of our fans, and I think we’re trying our best.” Kim Jin Woo said, “As much as you loved and helped us a lot, I hope all of you will feel happiness that exceeds that.”
