BTOB's Hyunsik Pens Heartfelt Letter To Fans After Military Enlistment Announcement

BTOB’s Hyunsik wrote a letter to fans following the announcement of his military enlistment.

On May 6, it was announced that Hyunsik will be enlisting in the military as an active-duty soldier on the same day as fellow member Yook Sungjae. Later that day, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts with BTOB’s fandom Melody.

Hyunsik’s full letter is below:

Hello. This is Hyunsik.

I’m sorry I am belatedly greeting you like this. After it was decided that I will be enlisting on May 11, I worried for a few days about how to talk about this.

I’ve been thinking more about Melody and BTOB recently. I searched for various photos and clips of times from BTOB’s debut to now, and laughed, reminisced, and was moved. And what I thought about the most was that I want BTOB and Melodys to quickly get together to recreate that again. You guys feel the same way, right? Since we’re all thinking the same thing, it will eventually come true.

I honestly don’t have any concerns because I have my trustworthy members and the strongest love in the universe from Melodys. I actually can’t wait for the future ahead.

I will return after growing into an even cooler man for Melody and BTOB and one that will make you more proud. I hope all of you won’t worry and please be healthy and happy while dreaming of the day we can be together. Like how Melody is the tune that’s always in my head, I will always be inside of your hearts.

Hyunsik and Yook Sungjae will be the fourth and fifth BTOB members to enlist after Eunkwang, Changsub, and Minhyuk. Eunkwang was recently discharged, Minyhuk is serving as a conscripted policeman, and Changsub is an active-duty soldier.
