Watch: "Sweet Munchies" Shares Glimpse Of Bittersweet Romance In New Teaser

Another teaser has been released for the upcoming rom-com drama “Sweet Munchies”!

“Sweet Munchies” is a new romantic comedy about a love triangle in which a man and woman fight over the same man. Jung Il Woo will be starring as celebrity chef Park Jin Sung, while former KARA member Kang Ji Young will be starring as variety show producing director (PD) Kim Ah Jin. “The World of the Married” star Lee Hak Joo will also be appearing in the drama as Kang Tae Wan, a successful designer.

The teaser shows Park Jin Sung cooking mouth-watering dishes for his customers. One of his customers is Kim Ah Jin, and he comforts her with both food and a shoulder to lean on. One day, she shows up crying after a stressful day, and he embraces her without a word. Kang Tae Wan also appears at Park Jin Sung’s bistro, and the three of them soothe their tired souls together with each other’s company and good food.

The production team described the drama, saying, “‘Sweet Munchies’ isn’t just about cooking or eating, but it’s a drama that conveys sympathy through late-night snacks and heals everyday wounds.”

“Sweet Munchies” premieres on May 25 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki.
