Baek Yerin Speaks Out Against Inflated Resale Of Her Limited Edition LP

Baek Yerin addressed the online resale of her album.

On May 11, the singer posted an Instagram Story of her thoughts.

She wrote, “Please do not buy or sell resold items. Thank you so much for liking [the LP] more than our expectations. My album was first released in December of last year. In order to gift fans with a kind of continuous event, the Blue Vinyl and Majang team members worked really hard for months to capture it in good quality. But how can you sell the 50,000 won (approximately $41) LP for five times the price?”

She continued, “I hope that the reselling culture that harms the artists for one’s gain can quickly change so that we can react with severe punishment. Just because everyone is doing it doesn’t justify your own illegal actions.”

Baek Yerin last released the album “Every letter I sent you” in December 2019 and achieved a certified all-kill upon its release.
