Shin Se Kyung In Talks To Join Upcoming JTBC Drama Along With Im Siwan
According to a number of sources, Shin Se Kyung will be playing the lead female role in JTBC’s “Run On” (literal title).
Following reports, her agency Namoo Actors stated, “Shin Se Kyung received an offer to appear in JTBC’s new drama ‘Run On,’ and she has started to review the offer.”
“Run On” will follow the story of a past track and field athlete who becomes a sports agent. The story features Ki Sun Kyum, a man who is fated to keep running while looking forward, and Oh Mi Joo, a woman who has become accustomed to looking back all the time. As a track and field athlete, the former would end up losing the moment he looks back, while the latter has no choice but to go back to the same scene over and over again as a foreign film translator.
Im Siwan is currently in talks to play Ki Sun Kyum, and if Shin Se Kyung decides to accept the offer, she will play Oh Mi Joo.
Oh Mi Joo is a character who loses her parents at a young age and grows up lonely as an orphan. She overcomes the sympathetic and neglectful eyes around her and becomes a successful translator. Yet, she finds it difficult to open up her heart to anyone. That’s when she meets Ki Sun Kyum, who makes her experience emotions she’s never felt before.
