E'LAST's Won Hyuk Of "Produce X 101" Talks About Support From VICTON's Han Seung Woo Ahead Of Debut

Won Hyuk of the new group E’LAST shared how VICTON’s Han Seung Woo has supported him ahead of his debut!

E’LAST is an eight-member group (Won Hyuk, Won Jun, Choi In, Seung Yeop, Rano, Baek Gyeul, Romin, and Ye Jun) under E Entertainment that held a debut showcase on June 8 for their upcoming mini album “Day Dream.”

Leader Rano said at their showcase, “We’re finally debuting. It all seems real because we’re standing here now. I feel awkward and nervous, but I want to lose those feelings. I want to say thank you to the members for working hard, and thank you to our fans for waiting.”

Won Hyuk and Won Jun both first gained fans when they appeared on the 2019 Mnet survival show “Produce X 101.” Won Hyuk said, “We went on the show as just the two of us, but now there’s eight of us, so I’m eight times happier and I think our energy will be that much better too.”

Won Jun talked about promoting at the same time as fellow “Produce X 101” contestants Han Seung Woo of VICTON and Kim Woo Seok of UP10TION. “We all worked hard and sweated together while we were on the show, and so I think of them fondly,” he said. “I’ve fulfilled my dream of debuting and I’m now able to meet them on stage, so I’m so happy and I’m also always supporting them.”

Won Hyuk shared, “I was in touch with VICTON’s Han Seung Woo recently. We said that we’d happily say hi to each other if we meet at a music show. On the day that my concept photo came out, he messaged me to say that he’d seen it. I’m cheering on VICTON.”

The members were also asked to describe their role models. Romin chose NCT, describing their great performance skills, while Choi In chose BTS’s Jimin and said he’s inspired by the energy felt in his dancing and the way he expresses emotion.

Won Jun named Lee Seung Gi as a great role model while Rano chose SEVENTEEN, describing how amazed he was by their dancing in “Don’t Wanna Cry.”

Won Hyuk said, “There are a lot of senior artists that I admire, but ATEEZ’s Choi San is someone that I often try to imitate. I became his fan after watching a fan cam, and his expressions on stage are amazing.”

Ye Jun said, “I really admire TXT. I usually focus on the melody when I listen to songs, and TXT’s music really touches my heart and is exactly my taste, so I’m really into them.”

Seung Yeop chose TVXQ’s Yunho as a role model, explaining that he wants to be similar to him when it comes to his passion. Baek Gyeul named Sam Kim, saying he really fell for him when he saw him perform.

E’LAST’s first mini album “Day Dream,” featuring the title track “Swear,” comes out on June 9 at 6 p.m. KST.
