The Boyz, ONEUS, ONF, PENTAGON, And VERIVERY Share Their Thoughts After "Road To Kingdom" Finale

Now that “Road to Kingdom” has come to an end, the five groups from the finale have expressed their thoughts about the experience and thanked everyone for their help along the way.

The show’s winners The Boyz said through their agency to the outlet DongA, “First, we want to thank our fans The B who made it so we were able to become the final winner of ‘Road to Kingdom.'” They continued, “We want to sincerely thank the many staff members who worked so hard for the past four months as well as all our members who were on this journey together.”

“We felt mixed emotions that we couldn’t even describe in words every time a dream of ours, that had seemed so far away, came true,” they said. “But we thought that we should become a great group that is able to continue to present you with performances that can make up for everything.”

“We’re going to continue doing our best so that the support and trust you’ve given us won’t change, so we hope that you’ll keep watching us,” they said.

On Twitter, the members shared photos and messages of thanks with fans. Sangyeon wrote, “Thanks to The B for giving us this precious win. I love you, I’m so happy.” He added in English, “I love you The B!!! Forever” and wrote “The Boyz came in first with The B” in Korean.

Jacob expressed thanks and love for The B.

Ju Haknyeon wrote, “Thank you so, so much, truly. I’m going to keep trying hard so that wherever you go, you’ll be able to say ‘I’m a The B. My idol is The Boyz.'”

Kevin wrote simply, “omg” in one tweet and later tweeted to say, “Was yesterday even a thing loool just wanted to thank u lovelies again.”

Q yelled out to The B and said, “We came in first!!!!!! Thank you so much, you did so welllll.”

Juyeon wrote, “Thank you, The B. I love you a lot.”

Younghoon posted, “Today is the happiest day of 2020. Thank you to all of The B. Also, I really love you. We’ll show you better sides of ourselves in the future. The Boyz is here because of The B. I love you, The B.”

Sunwoo wrote, “I learned so much from our colleagues in all the other teams, and I confirmed again that I could do anything for our The B. I love you, The B, I love you.”

The Boyz also shared group photos with the caption in English, “Thanks for the 1st place. You guys made it possible.”

Eric wrote, “The B.. what can i say? Thank you guys so much. I really mean it. ‘Always Remember, Eric Loves You.'”

Hyunjae posted, “Thank you for this special day created by The B. I’ll work harder.”

The runner-up group ONF spoke to Newsen after the finale. They shared that they both felt grateful and also sad that “Road to Kingdom” had ended, after having put so much thought and practice into their performances that they’d stayed up all night.

“All of the contestants staged the best performances by creating their own unique performances, so it seems that we learned a lot even during the competition,” they said. “ONF was able to grow more through ‘Road to Kingdom,’ and we’re very happy to have been able to show a lot of different performances to our fans.”

“Those four months were so enjoyable that the time felt short, and if we have the chance, we’d like to try putting on different performances again,” ONF continued. They shared their thanks and love for the staff who’d helped them create their performances and their fans Fuse who were always supporting them.

U wrote on Twitter, “Thank you so much for cheering us on!! I learned a lot and was able to grow! I’ll keep showing you cool performances! ONF, you did so well~~~~~!!! I love you, Fuse!!!!!!!”

Wyatt posted, “Thank you so much for giving us a lot of love, enjoying our performances, and supporting us through ‘Road to Kingdom.’ I’m always grateful and we’ll try to present you with greater performances in the future. Thank you, everyone.”

Hyojin wrote, “Thank you to Fuse for supporting us a lot during ‘Road to Kingdom.’ The result was a shame but it’s thanks to Fuse that we were able to wrap up the last performance well. You’ll keep supporting ONF, right? I love you, Fuse.”

MK said, “Our Fuse, I’m so grateful and I’m happy to be together with you.”

J-Us posted, “‘Road to Kingdom’ was so fun all the way until the end and I think it will be a good memory! To our Fuse who cheered us on until the end! I love you.”

E-Tion wrote, “‘Road to Kingdom’ was such a valuable experience and memory, and all I feel is happy and grateful because I gained so much from it. Our Fuse, thank you so much and I love you. Take a rest today, you did well.”

PENTAGON members also took to Twitter to share thoughts with their fans, which were translated by Cube.

In an audio clip of their voices, the guys say that their fans had worked hard for the past months because of them and done well. “UNIVERSE is the best!” they say. “We love you a lot! Thank you.”

ONEUS’s Keonhee wrote on Twitter, “I slept well. After waking up, everything that happened until yesterday feels like a dream. I feel like I’ve been living such a good dream up until now because of the bright moonlight that our To Moon shone on us. Thank you for making us able to stand on stage. Let’s keep making good memories together! I’m always grateful and I love you, To Moon.”

Xion wrote, “Thanks to To Moon, those eight weeks were so happy. I think I learned a lot and grew through ‘Road to Kingdom.’ The show’s over, but it’s now just the start of us being together every day! I’ll be a singer you can be more proud of in the future. Thank you for being a reassuring presence beside us. I really miss you. I love you once again today, our To Moon.”

VERIVERY spoke to Sports Donga through their agency and said, “‘Road to Kingdom’ was a great stepping stone for VERIVERY.” They went on to say, “We want to thank the viewers who showed a lot of interest and love in VERIVERY, the senior and junior artists who were on the show with us, the staff, and our fans, and we’re going to become a group that can make it all up to you.”

Yeonho posted on Twitter, “Our Beautiful-x VERRER!! Thanks for being with us until the end! It’s been so great during ‘Road to Kingdom.’ Please look forward to how we’re going to become more, more, more cool in the future!”

Hoyoung wrote, “The last episode of ‘Road to Kingdom’ finished today! Thank you to the staff and others who worked so hard and to our VERRER who watched over us.”

Kangmin posted, “I love you, always without changing. To my members, our VERRER, the ‘Road to Kingdom’ staff, contestants, everyone who watched, and our staff, thank you so much. You’re all the best!”

Dongheon wrote, “The identity of Beautiful-x was our VERRER! You went through so much while feeling anxious along with us, our VERRER!! You did so well over the past three months. We were also so nervous today… ‘I’m VERRER’s pride!!’ Those words are keeping me going now.”

Gyehyeon wrote, “Our VERRER who was running along with us, you did a great job. I think we were able to finish it off well thanks to the support and love we received from VERRER! We’ll become VERIVERY and Gyehyeon who make it up to you for the love you give. Our VERRER, you worked hard too. Goodbye, ‘Road to Kingdom’!”

Minchan shared, “‘Road to Kingdom’ is over!!!! You all worked hard!! Now we’re aiming toward a new start, which is our comeback!!!!!!! Thank you VERRER for supporting us. Beautiful-x was VERRER!!!”
