What To Look Forward To In Saturday's Premiere Of

tvN’s upcoming drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” has revealed what to look forward to in this Saturday’s premiere.

The drama tells the story of Moon Kang Tae, a community health worker at a psychiatric ward who doesn’t have time for love (played by Kim Soo Hyun), and Go Moon Young, a successful children’s book author who suffers from antisocial personality disorder and has never known love (played by Seo Ye Ji). After meeting one another, the two slowly begin to heal each other’s emotional wounds.

An incredible lineup

In addition to Kim Soo Hyun, who’s making his first return as a K-drama lead since his military discharge last summer, “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” features Seo Ye Ji, who boasts a powerful presence, Oh Jung Se, well-known for his acting range, and Park Gyu Young, who creates relatable characters with realistic acting.

At the helm of the drama is director Park Shin Woo of “Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate)” and “Encounter,” known for his detailed and artistic way of capturing scenes.

Cathartic healing

As made apparent through the title, “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” carries a healing message that says, “You are okay just as you are.” As the characters in the drama help each other overcome emotional wounds, viewers will also experience warm comfort and healing.

Exciting romance and warm bromance

Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji are already displaying incredible chemistry together. Viewers are looking forward to their sweet, but combative romance, with Kim Soo Hyun’s expressive acting and Seo Ye Ji’s femme fatale charms.

Kim Soo Hyun and Oh Jung Se’s bromance is also huge component of the drama. Their relationship will relay an entire spectrum of emotions to viewers, as well as some laughs.
