Moon Ga Young In Talks Along With Cha Eun Woo For Drama Based On Hit Webtoon "True Beauty"
Moon Ga Young and Cha Eun Woo may be uniting for a new drama!
On June 23, an industry representative reported that Moon Ga Young will be playing the female lead in the drama adaptation of the popular webtoon “True Beauty.” In response to the report, her agency KeyEast Entertainment commented, “Moon Ga Young received an offer to star in the new tvN drama ‘True Beauty’ and is positively considering the offer.”
“True Beauty” is a story of a young woman who doesn’t want to be caught without makeup on, and she experiences a heart-fluttering love story with a man who is the only one who knows what her bare face looks like. Moon Ga Young has received an offer to play the female lead Im Joo Kyung. It was previously revealed in April that ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo is in talks to play the male lead Lee Su Ho.
“True Beauty” will be directed by Kim Sang Hyub, who has led “The King Loves” and “Extraordinary You,” and written by Lee Si Eun of the “Rude Miss Young Ae” series.
