Main Rapper Of Rising Boy Group Surprises With His Vocal Skills On "The King Of Mask Singer"

On the July 5 episode of MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer,” the current champion defended their title against a new crop of challengers.

In this episode, Parcel Service and Squid went up against each other in Round 2. Parcel Service sang CNBLUE’s “I’m a Loner” and Squid sang Lee Duk Jin’s “The One Thing I Know.” As a result of the panelists’ votes, Squid advanced to the third round.

Taking off his mask, Parcel Service revealed himself to be Golden Child’s Jangjun! He said, “My position in the team is rapper, so neither the agency nor the members had high hopes for me [on this show]. The members told me ambiguously to just have fun and come back. I was a bit disappointed about that. My mother said that I was like her and asked if I was a rapper because I couldn’t sing. I decided to go on the show to open her mind.”

Jangjun and Tag are both main rappers in Golden Child, who recently appeared on Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom” and made a comeback with “ONE (Lucid Dream).”
