Watch: “I-LAND” Shares Glimpse Into Part One Of Intense Final Mission And Elimination Of 6 I-LANDERs In New Preview

Mnet’s “I-LAND” has dropped an exciting new teaser for next week’s broadcast!

In the July 24 episode, the trainees performed in units where the I-LANDER vocal and dance teams won each matchup. This meant that the I-LANDER lineup would remain the same until the next mission and that no grounders would be able to move up to the I-LAND.

The teaser for next week features clips of the group’s performances as they compete in part one of their fourth mission to determine the top 12 trainees. The judges appear impressed with the contestants and producer Rain comments, “Although he wasn’t my pick, [I thought] ‘Oh? Look at this guy!'” Zico adds, “I think he’s really charismatic,” which Rain agrees with.

Rain later shares with the other judges, “They really did their best performance today.”

In addition to Seon, who was the first I-LANDER eliminated by the producers, five other I-LANDERs are picked to be sent to the ground. The boys share emotional goodbyes and make comments like, “I thought ‘I have to survive,'” “I think a big part of it was my ability,” “I did predict that it could’ve been me,” and “It’s scary to think that half of us will disappear from here.”

Once the eliminated I-LANDERs enter the ground, the grounders immediately express shock and confusion at the trainees.

Later, storyteller Namgoong Min explains, “After part one of the fourth mission, out of the trainees remaining on the ground, only six contestants picked through our global vote will earn the opportunity to compete in part two where they will have the chance to debut.”

The mission song for the two-part final test is an unreleased track called “I&credible.” The final 12 trainees will be determined through I-LANDERs picks, producer picks, and global voting.

“I-LAND” airs every Friday at 11 p.m. KST. As of July 25 at midnight KST, the global vote has now opened.
