Kim Soo Hyun Discovers A Mysterious Letter In “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay”

tvN’s weekend drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” has released new stills of Kim Soo Hyun from the upcoming episode!

“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” tells the story of Moon Kang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun), a community health worker at a psychiatric ward, and Go Moon Young (Seo Ye Ji), a children’s storybook writer with antisocial personality disorder. The romantic comedy shows the love story that takes place between them as they heal each other’s scars.

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Moon Kang Tae ran to Go Moon Young’s castle after realizing that Park Ok Ran (Kang Ji Eun), the hospital patient who had provoked Go Moon Young’s father Go Dae Hwan (Lee Eol), had gone there to find her. After arriving, Moon Kang Tae found out that Park Ok Ran had already left. Instead of running away from reality, he and Go Moon Young reaffirmed their love for each other as they promised to stay by each other’s sides.

Additionally, the pair finally managed to open the heart of Moon Sang Tae (Oh Jung Se), who had been upset at the lies they had told him. A figure suspected to be Go Moon Young’s mother also appeared in the basement of the castle, leading viewers to wonder whether or not she had finally returned.

In the new stills, Moon Kang Tae holds a mysterious black envelope, pondering its contents with a serious expression. He discovers the envelope in the castle’s study, where Go Moon Young spent her childhood years. The contents of the letter are expected to bring a shock to both Moon Kang Tae as well as the viewers.

Thus far, the drama has been directly and indirectly conveying its message to viewers through the titles of stories Go Moon Young wrote as well as fairy tales that actually exist. The envelope that Moon Kang Tae discovers will also fit in with a fairy tale and is set to become a key piece in bringing out the puzzle of their past.

The next episode of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” airs on July 26 at 9 p.m. KST.
